What is Discover Scuba?
Discover Scuba is a quick and easy opportunity to try out scuba before signing up for the full class.
When is it?
Discover Scuba sessions are listed on the calendar.
How long is the class?
There is approximately a one hour classroom session followed by about an hour in the pool playing with scuba gear. There is a maximum of 15 people in the class.
How do I sign up?
Discover Scuba is on a first come first serve basis. You can sign up during gear hours in Room 5 of War Memorial Gym or at any club meeting.
How much does it cost?
Discover Scuba costs $10; this reserves your spot. This covers the class, pool session, and the gear you will be using.
Also, if you sign up to take an Open Water Class through the Scuba Club this semester, the $10 will be discounted from your class price.
What to bring
Bring a swim suit, towel and a long sleeved shirt to wear under the BC for comfort.
