Rental and Airfill Information
Gear Rental Requirements- Only members of the SCUBA Club at Virginia Tech can rent equipment!
- You must have a valid C-card.
- You must have a valid $500 deposit check on file. This check will not be cashed unless you lose or damage gear.
- All equipment must be returned on the date and time indicated on the gear rental form.
The SCUBA Room is located in War Memorial Gym Room 5.

Gear may be checked out during gear hours. If you can't make these times contact one of the gear officers.
The SCVT maintains its own breathing quality air compressor. The air from this compressor is tested regularily to ensure that it meets or exceeds PADI "Pure Air" (CGA E) standards.
All members of the SCVT are entitled to free airfills.
Once certified to fill tanks, members can fill their tanks from the SCVT air banks at the SCUBA room any time during normal gym hours.
If not certified to fill tanks, the member must request a certified compressor operator to fill their tanks for them during gear check-in/out times.
