Location

Route 114, between Blacksburg and Radford. Take 114 toward Radford, as soon as you cross the New River, make a u-turn. Just before the bridge there is a gravel road that is public access.

Description

Depths up to 43 feet. Lots of fish (big catfish), really cool rock formations, and a chance to see Buddah (and a seahorse too). Be careful for increased current when water is released from Claytor Lake (see stage information at the Flow Rate below).

**Flow rate is taken upriver from the bridge. Recorded flows are expected 2 hours later at the bridge.
