Description
Spring on the Suwanee River, with maximum depth in the
cavern zone of 60'-70'. The majority of the cavern zone is between 25'-35'.
There is a small fissure in the right portion of the cavern that goes down to
67'.
You must be Cave or Cavern certified to use this sight!! Always
remember to never dive beyond your level of training. There are
two ways to go to different parts of the cave system. To the right down the
fissure, the main line starts and leads 500' to Pot Hole Sink on its way to
Olson Sink. There are also several offshoot tunnels which you can make jumps
to. The other path to go is to the left of the cavern zone. There you can pick
up the main line, which leads into the Peanut Tunnel. This is a tight portion
of the cave, but it is only 25' deep. At the 1000' marker you can make a jump
to the Crossover Tunnel which will lead to the line from Pot Hole to Olson. The
line continues 1600' where it is tied to a rock. At the end of the line, you
can make a jump to the line from Olson Upstream.
