At tonight's regular meeting we had our first guest presenter and enjoyed a very informative training session on Underwater Photography by Nick Jeremiah. Nick is an active scuba instructor and avid photographer who demonstrated his craft to all in attendance. He began with a show and tell of multiple cameras, housings, strobes, filters, and lenses gave us an overview of the various equipment used. Then his thorough teaching abilities enabled a wonderful presentation on the mechanics of light, composition and tips for framing subjects underwater. Nick concluded with an extensive slide show of his own photographic work which demonstrated all the concepts that we learned. Thanks to Nick for a valuable and interesting look into underwater photography!
